With this tool you can send IR commands through a null-modem cable.
TuxOnHumax Patch must be installed into your decoder.

Double click the "configuration settings" file and your see ComPort=2 change it to a 1 then go to file and click save

Hello! i have humax 5400, null modem cable and HOT 8.0 instaleed. I have now installed HRC 2.5 on my PC and i am always getting messege TuxOnHumax Patch not found. where can i find this patch and where do i have to install it?

i think you don't stand-by on you humax 5400 before connect HRC ... or have wrong cable (test cable by use other software like DSR9500)

hi dare2,
as scriptors has said, i have just tested hrc 2.5, and it works well, but if i disconnect the lead it shows no tuxonhumax installed.

with this instructions it works but it makes just few channel changes and then it wont work more

wich type of OS you utilize ?

HRC it's really old software ;)

olso you can use only one software (serial comunication) ... if you open other software like DSR it's easy to broken correct serial communication with Hummy

i use HRC few time but without problem

try my Editor (i hope it's NOT out of roules) :rolleyes:

ps. if you need to use other software remember to disconnect HRC and after connect to other software
