NO SOUND from TV

Hi

I've got a new samsung HD LCD tv with pc input, I've just got the svga 15pin male to male cable and connected it to my laptop, I get a picture but the only sound I get come's out of the laptop and not the TV, does anybody know how I get the sound to come out of the tv, I've tried all the usual things like settings on the tv but no joy, any help would be apprecited.

Svga cable wont carry the audio.

You will need to use an audio lead from your laptops headphone socket to an audio input socket on your TV.

e.g. twin phono plugs on one end and a 3.5mm stereo jack plug on the other end.

You will have to use 2 seperate cables for this. 1 SVGA for picture & 1 twin phono - 3.5mm stereo jack for audio.

You should be able to buy the audio lead in most TV shops.
