I have a X221TS-CI
all are grey imports
pin 8 on the scart is not to european standard
the X221TS-CI has Freeview but is not 100% compatible
with british standards
not compatable with dragon cam.
the receiver is great for blind scan
works great with patched software
E-mail Vantage for help (Germany/Japan) You will get no reply

not compatable with dragon cam > most receivers with inbuilt emulators are not
dragon compatible. This is normal since you don't need a dragon with the Vantage.

v.a.n.t.a.g.e.-.d.i.g.i.t.a.l....com usually takes about a week but if you post questions on the s.a.t.-.u.l.c....com forum they are helpful.

I have an audio/video distribution centre connected by scart leads controlled by the voltage on pin 8.
If the power to the X221TS-IC is switched off (power cut or switch on back of unit.
when power is restored pin 8 goes to 12 volts and stays there. this voltage should drop to 0V, the push switch on the front stays illuminated .the receiver is off. this locks up my control system.On the 12 other pieces of equipment I have, no problem.
I paid extra for this model to save having an extra tuner for Freeview (not compatible in UK}
I would like to say that the X221TS-IC with Terrestrial Tuner is a waste of money
get the model without
There is a 0/12 switch fitted.the output connector on the back is missing
you read the manufactures technical data and find items not compatible or missing
Even the satellite list is not in a logical order.
There are also a lot of good points about the Vantage receivers .
