Hello
Just tried ubuntu and like the look of it and wondered what applications are available for the 5400. Like uploaders, settings editors and uploaders, bin file editors, in fact Humax tools for linux.
Thanks

Not really an answer to you question but if you really want to
make Ubuntu exciting you should look at XGL, Compiz, beryl

Go to youtube and search for Ubuntu in combination with
one of those three and your see what I mean ;)

I wonder where MS got their ideas for Vista Hmmmmmmm !

I've been wondering about the same thing. My old laptop would certainly work better under some version of linux but what's holding me back is not having humax tools for linux. I'm sure that if TNT doesn't know about them, then for sure there are none available.

To be honest I've only just started to think about installing
linux so wouldn't know if there are any apps available or not

You could always dual boot have windows and linux
