HELP HELP - Picture is Just RED

Guys,

My friend gave me his humax 5400 to update, so l was trying to update it but before l did, l noticed that all the pictures are RED

When u take the box out of standby, the Loader Version is displayed as Blue, which is fine, but, lm only getting a picture from the VCR Scart, and this is RED

From the TV Scart, the picture is blank and there is sound only

I tried to update the firmware, which l did, hoping it would change to normal, but no, still pictures are red

Is this hardware failure, as l cant see it being software

any ideas would be gratefully appreciated

You have somehow set the video out to YUV

Press the blue button and then select "AV Default Settings" and press ok

Thanks for the quick response, l tried that, but still the same

Got it mate,

The Video Output was set to RGB, now changed to CVBS

Red means its set to YUV what I told you to do sets it to the
default which is RGB if that didn't work I was going to tell
you to set it to CVBS but you saved me the trouble :)

Glad its sorted panic over
