Golden Interstar problem

Seem's like every other day now or when the D+ goes - I need to REset the reciever to factory then load all the channels...... Maybe end of the road for this box.

Its a Pain as takes 30 mins to find all the sats again!

Any ideas?

Done this about 4 times this week - so is problem --

When a code change - lose the lot ?! any ideas?

i see u have golden interstar , a friend of mine got 8500 and he can not tune in to all the chennel on astra 19 deg do u have this problem can u get all the channel like prim#####

I use a CAM - Dragon - when workin it all works 100%.

if I turn of the reciever I lose all the channels - so I leave on.

Hi mate am sure there is conflict between dragon and interstar, I just update D+ via remote load firmware with latest dat files via rs input and when loaded press 0 on remote brings up hidden menu and then update when keys change,

So you DOnt need a Dragam Cam then ? Just use the hidden menu to input keys ?

Hi mate yes I just update via remote switch on, when channel on press 0 brings up hidden cam menu, change to nagra, then to d+ press blue to edit add keys 00 or 01 two lines of 8 only hex ones,I get from L**rals then click done for each line press red to save then hey presto should be sorted,

OK I updated my box -- now I see the hiden menu via Key 0 --
When I go to D+ -- I see 4 lines cant make out whats what ie Keys 00 or 01- under INDEX is: 01,11,00,10 -
maybe I got older firmware

if you look on L**rals you will see the keys posted yellow in lines of 4 just update the two that match yours they will be yellow as you look if you count them on the site as 1234 and 3 and 4 are highlighted then update the bottom 2 lines think at the mo they are the top 2,

Is the TPS AU file for Golden Interstar that I`ve seen on other forums still working?

Anyone interested in a golden interstar reciever patched - dont need cam just enter key's.

TPS AU works fantastic on this receiver. All ytou have to do is put the file in and go to the horse racing station to start off - then all OK including multiv./
