Great Britain's quartet were in superb form in the final
Great Britain's quartet clinched GOLD in the men's team pursuit final on day two of the World Track Cycling Championships in Mallorca. Edward Clancy, Geraint Thomas, Paul Manning and Bradley Wiggins were dominant against the Ukraine in the final of the 16-lap, 4000m event.

They clocked 3:57.468, over five seconds clear of their rivals, for the third-fastest time ever in the event.

I am doing a research on sport events for the summer - May, June, July and August.

I mean sport events that can bring people to watch then, like cycling (Tour de France, Italia, Spain), Tennis (Roland Garros, Wimbledom, USA) and many others. Do you have an idea where can find list of the huge amount of sport events going on this Summer?

It's very tough to find this thats why I did this.

For the sports im interested in say Tennis - I looked at some tennis sites for the Calender of events. Then did a google for the Tornament - and used there site for info/updates order of play etc - ie the recent montecarlo.masters - they have there own web site.

If you find anything better please post back. As the aim was that others would inform when ,where somethin is on. Seem to be missing some good sports action as we are mis informed - or given a diet of what we can watch.

I agree 100% with you. Except soccer (and maybe one or two other sports) there are not websites offering schedules like Lj for soccer.

There is a huge lack of info on the web on this theme and it was a bit strange to check that it was true.

My last actions to find events were like you said to check official websites like FIFA or ATP. But no doubt that this is not enough.

EUROSPORT will be showing five hours of coverage from the concluding weekend of the WDF World Cup from Rosmalen in The Netherlands.

On Saturday, October 13th, Eurosport 2 will show two hours of coverage from 5.15PM to 7.15PM GMT, and then later the same evening, there will be another one-hour transmission from 10.15PM to 11.15PM GMT.

On Sunday, October 14th there will be Eurosport 2 coverage of the World Cup finals from 7PM to 9PM GMT.
