New Firmware 00080003AOA 14/04/07

There seems to be a serious flaw with the new firmware. After loading it into the box, ( and I tried it 3 times) the channel list has gone and you cannot re-load it from your pc backup.
Replaced the previous firmw are and reloaded the channel list without problems.

Chanel upload for this version works only with chaneleditor 2.3 (mainware readme.txt), but i haven't found it yet.

what, the readme.txt or the channel editor 2.3?

Channel editor 2.3 is on all the Vantage download sites now.
BUT it is not compatible with your current channel lists. You will have to
re-scan the satellites and then upload it into the Editor 2.3 to edit your Favourites etc. Then it will upload to the receiver OK !
Bit of a pain I know but the TP's have been changed in the firmware and so
the channel lists will have to comply in order to be compatible. :frown:

the readme to the new firmware says a new channel editor is to come, where you can import older settings and upload onto new firmware.
