PocketGPSWorld.com Speed Camera Database Version 5.044 18 Apr 07
There are a total of 10,775 verified cameras in the database and 1,171 unverified mobile sites (total combined: 11,946). 3,880 Gatso/Monitron/Truvelo, 5,669 Mobiles, 12 Temporary, 212 Specs and 1,002 Redlight Cameras.
We have had a total of 29 verified static cameras added this release.

Each file covers all of the speed cameras, so only use one of them depending on how much information you want.

The ZONED cameras are split up into different camera groups - Gatso, Mobile, Redlight, Specs & Temp - and then these groups are split up again into the various different speed limits - 20mph, 30, 40, 50, 60 & 70 - except for the Redlight cameras.

The CONSOLIDATED cameras are just split up into the different camera groups Gatso, Mobile, Redlight, Specs & Temp - so just one file for each group.

The SINGLE cameras has only one file which covers all of the cameras.

Also included are the Europe Single File speed cameras.

How to upload the Speed Cameras :-
Extract the contents from whichever file you decide to use, then copy all the .OV2 and .BMP files and paste them into the map folder on your memory card.

Thanks again Russell for speed cams.
Just a thought but is there a source for the new maps .675?

Hi Russell,

Can you tell me what time you downloaded the original file, as an e-mail from the original source says there was a glitch with files uploaded to the server.

"STOP PRESS!!
Due to a technical glitch when we uploaded the latest database to the server some of the files were not copied correctly. We have rectified this now, if you downloaded the database before 20:00 18th April, please download a newer correct version.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused."

Cheers

It was earlier than that. Any idea what the glitch is ? I've put these cameras on my Tomtom & not noticed a problem.

Other than the text posted above, it doesn't actually specify the exact problem!

Russel,

I don't suppose you have the files in CSV format for me to import into AutoRoute ??
