it might work but a better option is a zone 2 with a skyware lnb so you can adjust the skew properly

these work fine on the main sats here in the uk

I have a zone 2 on hotbird with offsets on 19e , 28e and 42e

and another zone 2 with a skyware skyplus quad lnb on 30 west

these all work fine , providing you have the right skew

details and pictures in the lnb forum stickies I believe

Cheer echelon, have seen and viewed your 4 way zone 2 many times. love the homemade stuff.

but its a case of my mate has the zone 1 doing nothing, and said for about 90 he could have a 1500ci on it for prem and d+ , reusing the dish to keep cost down, its gotta be on the limits of reception tho?

but the 1500ci has the best tuner i think in the sat hobby. It can pickup even the smallest of signals which i found out when i used my 1.25m gibertini on it to get Nilesat 7w. I got nearly all Horizontal transponders while with my dreambox i got **** all

shame you are not in my area as he could get a zone 2 from me as I have a couple spare ;)

plenty of them on fleabay and cheap too :)

the 43cm minidish may work but definitely better with a bigger dish

ps:- I use a tm1500ci on mine and I have tested a clarketech 1500 and a tm100ci and all work fine , as does my older samsung 9500 viaci

ps:- one of these days I will setup a temp 43cm dish and try 13e , 19e and 30w with a tm1500 and see what I get or dont get

I'm just the other side of the Thames, Fil and I've got a Zone 1 up and running on 19e and it's working a treat!! No break ups in bad weather. Very stable!

I was down at my friends in manchester and set up a tm 1500ci to 19.2 east with a zone 1 dish with no problems.I could not find 13 east though.

I use a Zone1 on the camper and it gives good reception on 19E and 28E in clear weather from the Atlantic (well as far south as Bordeaux) to the Swiss Alps and as far east as the Rhein.
