I bought one about a month ago, updated to the latest firmware (1.18 i think) and its been fantastic. Watching BBC HD right now on my SONY 40" LCD in 1080i. Brand new for £89.99 from that well know auction site, its been a complete bargain. It takes my Dragon CAM just fine and i can even decode NASN using it this way with an official card. Comes supplied with everything to get you going including an HDMI lead. The only issue i've had is not going into standby one night, so i switched it off at the wall and alls been fine since.

I bought it for its HD capability, and for this purpose i'm very pleased - surely worth it for the HD ability alone - Excellent picture.

True, on Premier HD the channel does clear but i am left with a large message in the middle of the screen! Pace are allegedly 'working on a fix'.

It does seem to be more stable. No problems so far with going into standby, channels switch faster. Not tried the premiere HD channels with my Dragon CAM yet.

Is that a guess m8 - or do you know that for certain? Never mind banners, I can't get my Pace to do anything with my XCAM? (and I do have the latest firmware).

Just loaded the latest software but still can't get into the T-Rex menu. The receiver recognises the cam and decodes, but you have to use another receiver to update keys or to use the loader card. Is this normal?

Message from Pace this week:

Hello
The next download is aimed at improving CAM support. It is not essential to
carry out a reset after a software download but personally I would.
I hope this helps.

anyone with one of these can confirm:
1. does it have only one CI slot (i think so)
2. does it have a card slot ? if so can this decode viaaccess ?

many thx guys
I think i am going to sign up for the bargain of the year!
