Hi all

iv just moved my tm 5500 cip plus and cant remember on the back of the reciever which wire goes were in the actuator

iv got four space two at the top and two at the bottom
with four colours

red
green
black
white

any ideas were they go as i cant get sat to work i keep getting actuator error

please please help this is driving me mad

Hi,

Actuator Error with the TM5500 means it isnt get feedback pulses from the reed relay or the reed relay is connected but the motor isnt moving.

In the worst case if you have connected the wires wrong then you could have damaged the read relay in your motor.

I think the best way to be sure of the colour coding is to check the motor side of things and see what colour is connected to what and then you know what to do at the TM5500.

Even if you have damaged the reed relay once you get the motor wires correct the motor will move very slightly before the TM5500 gives its alarm. If you have the motor wiring right but still get Actuator Error then you need to check the reed relay or the wiring from the reed relay to the TM5500.

M8 ive got the TM5500cip and my set up is as follows:

Green is.. Motor A
Red is ..Motor B
White is:.. Sensor
Black is:.. GND

Dont know if this helps you but as i say its what my setup is
