TomTom Mobile 5.20 inc GB v6 map

This is a copy of a post I made late last year - the speed cameras are now well out of date, but the latest ones are posted on the forum :D. The map & postcodes that are included in this download are also from late last year - there is a newer postcode file posted on here & also the V660.1223 maps will work with this Tomtom V5 (no other V660.**** or V675.**** versions will work though).


I've also added the latest speed camera database into the map folder, removed a lot of the foreign voice directions and added plenty of celebrity voices, and finally I've also added a new data.chk file - this will give you a few different speed camera warning sounds instead of the default warning sounds. (file size is just over 120mb)


Extract the zip file, inside is a folder named " TomTom Mobile 5.20 inc latest v6 map ", copy the CONTENTS of this folder onto your memory card.

This version is in Dutch (I think ?) To change it to English :-
Get the menu up, scroll down to no.5 - picture of a spanner by it & select (it's change preferences) - then scroll to page 5 - go down to option 4 - picture of 3 flags, this is Switch Language - then choose the language you want.

It's 4 years old now Cromwell - is this the latest version you can use ? - What phone have you got ? If you still need this copy I'll try to find it again for you.

Don't laugh but I use a Binatone carrera, put tom tom 4 on the sd card, working, I was going to try a later one ?

actually russell im still using this version on an old nokia 6600 symbian phone.
ive other phones including blackberries,but tomtom wont run on them,but the main problem is these phones dont fit into my car kit and im not spending £200 to change it,so for as long as the old nokia still works then thats what i will use,although the left direction button on the joystick no longer works.
i have the very latest postcodes in it and latest speed cameras that you have posted.wish there was an update for the maps though.Ian.

Been messing with it Russell, and got TomTom 6 UK + 7 digit postcodes + works on WIDESCREEN + speed cameras, and all up and running on a £25 binatone, nice, a big thank you Russell m8.
