Technomate Images

There is a strong rumour doing the rounds on the web that somebody has managed to get a Dreambox7020 image fully working in a Technomate9100,it is said that this was achieved with the help from some boffin at Technomate.

Of course if this is true it would be a major development regarding the Technomate9100,but once again I must state that it is only a RUMOUR.

Does any other member have any info as to if this situation is TRUE or infact just a RUMOUR.

but cant see any reason why not after all there both linux based it would just be a case of sorting out hardware issues

doesnt work for a clarketech 1500 trying tm1500 firmware , each to its own

so until you are assured it works , assume it doesnt

have been told else where dont even try it can damage it but there is new sofware coming out nearly every day now, just loaded ur008 beta 2 and lots fixed wait a day or two and will be complete from a good team working hard but its still got a few minor probs for some

One of the TM9100 gurus on the Darkman site, has posted a "sticky" warning to new TM9100 users not to load a Dreambox image as it may corrupt the box.

Yep, and I believe him. So will not touch DB image.

DB tools are an other thing but better to follow instructions.:D
