adding cabo keys via remote.

looked through the stickies and faqs, is adding the cabo keys via remote the same format as adding the d+ keys. i managed to patch the reciever without any problems but as ive only been using this stb for a couple of weeks im not sure on how to add new cabo keys via remote. sorry if it sounds a bit dumb but i dont wanna screw anything up? cheers for your understanding. regards, adamx.

managed to get the keys in prop but not clearing as yet? did it on a cabo channel tho. do i need to update keys on a fta channel or dont it matter? lovin the gettin used to the techy stb so far and everything seems so straight forward, all i need now is the successful results. thanks for reply propwash , regards, adam.

the cabo keys are slot 59 , and its the same procedure as for d+ in slot 58


just make sure you know if its key 00 or key 01

00 goes in top 2 lines , 01 goes in bottom 2 lines

or use the latest tm softcam instead

doesnt matter if its fta or not

thanks echelon all colours present now thanks to all concerned. im amazed at the easiness of how it all comes together. now echelon u have just made me more inquisitive by mentioning the the softcam keys? i did what u said in the faqs with the hex keys and its good but where do or how do i change the softcam keys? sorry if im after a quick fix ere ech as in the past uve always been the top man, do i re-read through the stickies at the top for this info? thanks in advance, adamx.

no need ech found it straight away and yes its easy to update s/cam. similar to patchin but quicker. il bare this in mind for future reference . thanks for all your help as always , longlive pimps. regards, adamx.

and if you are using your remote control , please note you can input the digits 0 to 9 using the numbers on your remote control , so you actually only need the onscreen keypad for the letters A to F

then when finished press exit and choose save

added the latest keys from kempa on ere and cant get nothin to open? tried everything like turning patch on and off , powering up and down , leaving on a channel all sorts but still dark ? any ideas what im doin wrong guys im really stuck. ive checked and double checked all the keys but note clears , well d+ and cabo dont anyways?

check you have put them in correctly on key 00 or key 01 depending which the latest are , and that you are using slots 58 and 59

otherwise use the latest softcam in case you messed up

yeah il do that ech . cant understand why it worked dead easy the first time tho and not this time ? i double checked all keys so i know ther eall correct. the ones dated the 6/5/05
