sammy satellite update

hi
can anyone help i have a sammy 9500 ci about 4 years old.i recently bought a bigger dish, i can lock onto some satellite it registeres on a meter,however when i try and find it on the sammy it wont detect anything,do i need to update the satellite listing if so how. all help would be greatefully recieved
