Gentlemen . I am having a blonde moment please help?

I have always used my visioNet Via my hummax on my diseq motorizeed system but now my 5400 has decided to call it a day and I have buried it in the garden last week ( RI.P lol :D ):frown:

And now all i have is my VisionNet 800cis (for now ) but I cannot for the life of me work out how to motorize this box

Can it be done and how ?
I know it sounds stupid but when you have always relied on another box when motireizing.
you 4 get.

Any info would be helpfull cheers:D

It will ask you to select antenna type.

The options are as follows:-

Normal - Use for single LNB non motorised
Diseqc Switch - Use for switch or monoblock
Diseqc 1.2 - Use for Diseqc 1.2 motors (positioning needs to be setup manually)
USALS - Use for USALS motors (will ask for lat and long to be entered)

Cheers Dr Paulos

The one that is mine is = Diseqc 1.2 - Use for Diseqc 1.2 motors (positioning needs to be setup manually.

But unlike the humax when you have neared your position the blue horizontal bars move to see that you have the satalite postion.

The bars are up right on the VisionNet 800cis = vertical and green ..so when I move manually will the bars go green to state you have hit the right satalite????
The Visionet does not look user freindly to me lol:D :D

I need a manual or tut or a link, thread, to show how to move motorised manually .. and what to look 4 when moving the dish.

Or is it that simple that I am really just a blonde :D :D

You need to select a satellite, and an active TP. Move the dish east or west with the remote and peak for the highest Signal and Quality. Then save the position. I can't go into any more detail as I am doing this from memory as I have plugged my Innovative in at the moment, as it clears a lot more.
