Strong 4375?

Hi all,
Anyone know how to put satellites and tp's into a strong 4375.
Software in box dates back to 2001 that is in the box.
Only has 6 sats in the box at the moment, but not 19.2
Wanting to give it to a mate for 19.2 using a spare dragon cam.

Tried to update to the last update for this box using a male to female serial cable and a null modem cable but no joy.
Just says UPDATING, but it dosen't.

Just wondering what cams/cards are suitable for my 4375 these days?

I've been out of this for a very long time and there is little info these days about what this m/c can get etc?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I gave it to my mate and he was using a dragon in it for a while, then he upgarded to a dreambox.So at least know the dragon worked okay. Don't have any info on other cams working.

I have been using this receiver for a number of years. It works with latter versions of the Dragoncam 4.01+ but not with 2.06 ( I have both versions)

hope you dont mind me chipping in here -
i have a strong 4375 - and can confirm that dragon works ok , some dragon updates did not do all they should ,
but mostly they do ok .
the results with a diablo cam have been similar ,

the strong i use mostly to move a large dish to feed into a skystar 2 p.c. card , and a technomate reciever ,so have not used the cams in it much recently, --i will update them and try them in the next few days to see if the current cam software is working ok if you like

i.v had my 4375 from new --it been a good machine for me
and is still used daily
