why good bye all older recievers?

im still using a humax 5400 with no problems what so ever,
fair enough no prem at the moment but the 5400 is most likley the best supported stb ever with such an easy to use interface

no doubt there will be software releses in the next few weeks (mabie months) to open channels such as prem and mabie others for the "older" stb's

:rolleyes: Do not think you will find many folk moaning about one package, Premiere has been available to us, together with others, for a long time and we have enjoyed that 'long time'.

Some receivers perform other duties and certainly will not be put to stud.

As Zad basically says, just a question of WHEN and certainly not, as you put it, 'goodbuy' .....although my Dreambox was/still is a 'goodbuy' !!

HI humax 5400 1 for the best if not the best had mine for years easy to use well surported if i had to buy something newer could not moan had a lot for good years from humax 5400 wish all the cards and cams were as good lol thanks

This old receiver good for last years but for now no TPS AU not Premiere MECM and for linux recevers like DREAMBOX7000 & D-BOX2 new recevers is out with new chipset CONEXTANT :)

Nothing wrong with Hummy,had my moneys worth out of it many times over,and can still get d+ ,same films as prem*** and tps so not really missing much and footies finished for few months.:)
