hello i have a tomtom700 which has never been changed. but now it is time to upgrade the map but have no idea. can you put me in the right direction please .like which map version etc......:)

You'll need to upgrade your Tomtom software first, the new maps will not work on Tomtom v5. Go to Tomtom - Plus services - download & install Tomtom Home to your PC then connect your Tomtom & upgrade - make sure you have got a full back up copy before you do anything to your Tomtom. The latest map version is 675.1409 - links posted here -
