Mitac??

I'm thinking of buying a Mitac Mio C210 satnav but notice that the maps are very expensive to buy from their website. Is there a cheaper way of getting the maps (like the tomtom maps that seem to be easy to get hold of at the right price). Any suggestions or comments about the model I am looking at would be great.
