Interesting information (Spain)

Went to a friends house in Spain Nr Granada most dishes in the area are 1.3 and he has a Triax 1.1 dish Televes .5 lnb and a Visionet 7000 box for fta channels on 28 east it works perfectly.
I tried a pace digibox and could only get ITV no BBC.

The Visonet must have a very strong tuner i wonder what make it is?

If anyone else knows of boxes that work well in Spain for FTA channels please post.

Relook 400s works well problems with dm500s.

It depends which Pace model you have. A Pace 2600 is one of the best. Pace DS430N is OK, Amstrads are OK too. Grundig 310/2, also the GDS 3000.

you dont say if you tried the same bbc region on both boxes,

also i found the televes lnb"s were not very good with low band freq"s a few years ago , dont know if they are any better nowadays or not

dreambox 7020 with alps tuner is better than pace sly + , on same dish/lnb

On my gibertini 1.2 there pace works fine going to try technomate 9100 next time will let you know.

P.S inverto octo worked better then invacom quad.

Is the Inverto quad OK as well?

fboy tried a quad in the Uk against an invacom twin again the inverto cam out on top but to be fair the invacom is about 3 years old.

OK thanks. So the answer seems to be the newer technology gets the nod, unless Invacom updates.
