card readers

Has anyone been able to get the card readers to read any smartcard?

If so what cards worked with with what emu.

I haven't found a thread on any forum actually confirming that the card readers actually work.........................

I've just given up on this.

If I understand it (and I probably don't!) Newcs is the card reader part.

Every time I check it says its not running. Blue, 3, Yellow.

There are at least 4 emu that work with card readers in the dreambox:
Newcs
CCcam
Gbox
NewcamD

But I cannot get any to work in the TM9100

Just seen a post in the dark place. He got S*y working with UR006. Is that where we are going wrong?

I did.. I'm able to watch Sly with gbox (the one included on UR 006)

To do it:

Get the UR 006 image
Install gbox
install the gbox keys
put the card on the 1st reader
reboot the box
and voila

I just thought I'd update the card reader situation with me.

I have so far got to work;
GBox 2.25 with both card readers and also
Newcs rc13 with mgcamd as a client, both readers again.

Good fun this box ;)
