Hi all,
power supply unit of my humax 5400 has just died :(
Can I order it somewhere on the net? I remember there was a website in Ireland which was supplying psu's for humax, but I forgot the link.
Or, is there a shop in London I could get one from?
Thanks a lot,
Andrey

There's info in the "help" sticky at the start of the Humax section. Look at posts 5 and 12 by Voith Driver and you'll read about the components required, and a circuit diagram. There's also the telephone number in Northern Ireland where you can ring and order a replacement if you don't feel confident about repairing it yourself.

its always worth reading sticky threads ( and the rules ) when you join a forum , as most questions are already answered

as for naming retailers etc , its not allowed here unless they sponsor the site

in any case , welcome to our forums , hope you get sorted out

Hi Andrey, Do a search under `Humax` on E-B-ay, there`s a guy there that does high-temp upgraded items around £18, ideal if you`re not that confident with mains electrics.

I used the guy on **** last week and was excellent service. cost £18.50 + £7.50 postage but you also need to send your old unit as they part ex.
