Humax dead

When I turn my 5400 it just barely flickers in the display and thats all it does has been quiet slow coming on lately may have to restart it a few times before it will start up any ideas.

i would hazard a guess that it is the psu, they are easily found, there is a telephone No in the help section or you can take a chance on the bay, they are easy to change.

if you want to check, you can take the lid off and using a multimeter you can check the voltages on the various pins of the psu, the values are printed alongside

My well be I replaced it a couple of years ago but it had been sandwiched between a couple of sat boxes for the last week or so and then it started acting up are the Humax replacement psu`s any better now.

Buy one of those high-temp replacements on fleabay.... job done!
