I get pictures on 11075 from up here and a lock on 2 or 3 of the other transponders so you should get better results from down there

I'm in Oxfordshire with a 125cm Gibertini CM feedhorn and inverto C120 twin LNB.
Try 11075, that seems to be the strongest.

Not a whimper in SW England with an accurately set up arc hugging 2metre dish. Are you sure krikkitt? 1) Where you live (not Oxfordshire, UK) ? & 2) What channels you are actually picking up on 11075V ?

I have wondered how big a dish you need to get this and other satellites.
If someone in southern England can get it on a 1.25 metre dish but somebody else also in southern England cannot get it on a 2 metre dish then that confuses me completely.
Are your dishes ground or wall mounted ?

@ dostoy
I have talked to you before on another forum about this satellite (and some others) via PM's. I would not get your hopes up!

We have talked before about this kind of thing but I cannot understand how one person can get it but another, who has a bigger dish, cannot.
Just wondered if ground or wall mounted made any difference.
I would love a bigger dish but I do not know how big I need or how much it would cost as dishes 1.8 metre or bigger are hard to find or at least they are for me.
I am not asking because of premiership football I am just interested generally.
Anybody got any ideas where to get one ?

Have been in the process of squeezing the last drops out of this sail for the last few months and into the DX thing more than actually watching anything .
So yes it's Oxforshire UK , and post 1 is a SC/shot of the Aviation channel, post 2 is the transponder scan of the same sat (Eurobird and Badr have been lumped together as one sat but Badr doesn't transmit 11075 obviously), and post 3 is a scan of Nilesat. Just to show that the Gibbi is working well and I'm not in a freaky side lobe ;)
