humax 5400 help please

hope someone can help me?i have a humax5400 which was ok before i updated the new patch 8 or above it takes the patch but when i write a bin file to it using dsr version 5.6 it will not store the keys ,if i use the remote control to manually input the keys it dose not store them, i just have lines of00 00 00 etc if i down grade to old patch such as 6.9? it will store the keys, but once i patch 8 or above the keys have gone, any help would be great thanks.

what key is it that you are having problems with?
if its d+ it may be in au if this is the case you may have to load a dissable patch, cant tell you what one tho since i dont have a humax any more :confused:

If as ZAD says you're trying to store D+ keys HOT 8.0 was autoupdating with D+ until they used counter measures to stop it. The keys won't be stored. Either go back and use Hot 7.9 or try and install the latest 8.2.

just tryd it but still the same 7.9 stores the keys as soon as i update the patch bang the keys have gone tks all for ur help

try putting catone 3 in your hummmy again
failing that if HOT 7.9 is ok put that on
then HOT 8.1 or HOT 8.2 mod5
