Pace DS810XE and Premiere Channels

Hi Guys,

Now that the latest pace software update has apparently fixed the problem with Premiere, I suppose I should buy myself a Diablo cam. Aside from the fact that the Premiere hack might not last that long, what Premiere channels are actually available. And, what about the Sport Portal channels. Can they be viewed with the Pace box? I know that the Humax solution was to download a pre-made channel list, but I'm not sure if that can be done on the Pace. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I downloaded the latest patch, put the Diablo CAM in but would not kick in until I put in my Technomate, then after half an hour the message bar came up saying Invalid CAM Inserted!! So be careful.

I guess things are not as cut and dried as I'd hoped for. Is anyone able to confirm that the T-Rex cam works better with the latest update?

To access the Sport channels go to Sport Portal and press the OPT button, the hidden channels will appear, same rule applies on Direkt and Erotik.

Thanks for the info. Are you using a Diablo or T-Rex cam, and are the channels clearing ok now? And can I just check that Direct, Sport and Erotik are all available in HD?

T-Rex Super CAM. Working fine. The Direkt, Sport and Erotik channels are all SD, however there is always the Prem HD and Discovery HD channels.

I think the Prem HD has some sporting events.

Thanks for the reply. It was available at one time (I think), so has it stopped broadcasting for a reason. Sorry for the silly questions, but I only need to buy a Diablo cam in order to receive HD channels on my Pace. I already get Premiere through another method which I won't mention here. If I'm only going to get 2 HD channels, it hardly seems worth it.

yes it stopped a while ago but prem hd shows some sporting events. the diablo will open plenty of channels that others wont so its up to you.

Thanks for the reply. In my case, I only need the Diablo for HD channels. I have another receiver and set-up which gets me everything (I'm sure you know what I mean!). That's why I'm hesitant about buying the Diablo. Do you know if any football will be shown on Premiere HD next season?

thinking about buying humax hd system .i would like to now if thay are value for money. or isit worth waiting for technomate hd box .any info will do...

humax hdci 2000 is good but make sure you can put a channel list on when its set up as it will save you scanning all the channels.
