Nice to see a new team for the 9100 but your right don't know anyone who's got it running yet
TNT
Its not realy to the rescue i now find the ur009beta great, its very stable and not a lot to fault it.
But do agree this is nice to see a new team and it shows these recievers are now getting loads if interest and that means further support

Personally I dislike everything about the UR009beta and all the other previous versions.
Currently prefer the original 009. :)

Well tonight I will unpack my new TM9100 and start playing:D
With regards to DS team they have been making great images for the dreambox for quite some time and they have a great team behind them so the more info we can get back to them the better:)

Yep this is not bad, but for FTA channels only

ur009 seems to lockup up from time to time and has a few bugs in it still
hopefully the 009 will get its abilities incorporated into these juliet and ur images and the bugs may get repaired
to produce the best of them all in one image
meanwhile v2 of the ds images is out with the fatal error flaw fixed

Have a null cable ready if you install DS into flash.

I am not touching the flash but just trying it in iboot if I can do so
just booting and scanning channels at the moment
and I have put the new files in the stickies too
so I wouldnt recommend anyone to put it in the flash as yet

@echelon
I guess you use the update image with iboot but what are noboot images for never quite got that ?

I think you can use either
When you get to the confirm menu in iboot there are the options for the different variations ie update, noboot, complete etc.
I'm currently running noboot
If you have several images then when the iboot menu shows, if the new image is not in the list then arrow down.
This caught me out...... I installed several ds images before I realise LOL

Remember that the hard drive is not mounted as default.
Go to the settings menu and enable the hard drive and reboot

ok had a play
Cant use hdd as it gets stuck in some kind of loop
Cant use motor setup as soon as I enter the menu motor starts to move, not a problem though as I just upload my settings
Anyone who installed mgcamd 1.24 and want it showing in the menu as 1.24 you can edit the "emulist.xml" in var/tuxbox/config
just change "MgCamd v1pre22" don't forget to chmod 644
I backed up the old one then edited it and replaced with new one

download and install the v1.22 using the menu
then use ftp to send over new 1.24 files and make adjustments accordingly like chmod755 so it boots the new files in place of the old ones
I tried their image on DM 500 nothing special guys and way too much memory it takes + is buggy there also.
CC CAM however works.

Think if you ftp over 1.24 you have to remove 124.ppc off the file or at least I did ?
I just had a nightmare after installing went well the first time
DS3.2 lost all my settings somehow and the positions from usals, trouble is theres no usals setup in motor setup so
thought I would do a factory reset but it wouldn't work
Decided to delete the image with iboot 2 which it did except it wouldn't delete everything in var no problem just delete
image using ftp but it wouldn't let me
Had to format card again but iboot still wouldn't install, in
the end used iboot to format then all was ok
Has anyone else managed to use iboot to delete images cleanly ?
Also does anyone no a telnet command to factory reset guessing there must be one ?
Edit : Think I solved the delete problem I had, hadn't changed the password on the DS image to match the others
it seems to delete, backup and restore all passwords must be the same

If your trying to install mgcamd1.24 using a tar.gz file it wont work unless its specifically for the DS image
Thats why you need to download 1.22 from the panel then over write 1.22 with 1.24 in var/bin

I tried first with 1.22 tar file.It sees the file but when unpacking says xml file missing.I think it is a file in var/tuxbox menu for emus

You cant use any tar files to install mgcamd unless its specifically for the DS image
There are a number of files that are used in DS images with emu's one being a xml file that aren't in other images

If i need to remove the image from MMC , i simply boot to flash image, with ftp select /mmc/iboot/images/xxxxx, where xxxx is the folder with image i want to delete and select "delete" in ftp.
That's simple like that

Thats the first thing I tried after iboot as I said above but it wouldn't let me delete anything for the same reason iboot couldn't
Even tried the same using telnet but nothing, for some reason all files were protected
I'll see what happens next time
