'Just for Educational purposes', what is the latest on TUTV now they changed their encryption method to Seca2. Is there a way around this yet?;).

Isn't Seca2 hacked anyway?

some of seca 2 may be hacked but dont think there is only the one version of any encryption

as for tutv , the version it uses is not hacked

Thanks echelon. Out of curiosity which versions 'may' be hacked (which providers).

Isn't there still a way of being able to put a pin code in for this without paying?

not for tutv and never was either

the channels you are thinking about are long gone ( xtraview , redhot and setanta sports )

read elsewhere that guy was sell dreambox or one of these type that could get all the pay channels on freeview, never got anybody anywhere to find out if it was true
but could u put an image file into dreambox or eurovox etc that would allow u to view all freeview
educational purposes only of course

Presumably with the right equipment you could do it by the method we don`t talk about on here.

In fact TopUpTV as it used to be (and subscriptions are no longer sold) no longer exists and has been replaced by TopUpTV Anytime.
This delivers a selection of programs which are stored on the hard drive of their Anytime PVR box rather than for 'live' viewing
_http://www.topuptv.com/

and it certainly isn't hacked

Its true they no longer sell subscriptions because they are forcing people with iDTVs to buy an 'anytime' PVR box. However UK Gold, UK Style and Eurosport are still available to subscribers who wont switch.
With the boom in iDTV sales I wonder how many thousands of new customers they failed to get who dont want an extra box. (must be run by the same marketing people as Ondigital was!)
Cheers

Kipper2.
Very true - I get pestered by phone .text and email to change to their PVR.
Latest mail shot received today is a "best ever offer and lowest ever price" of £49.99 + 12 month's contract or £99.99 without.
The last time they phoned me I told the guy that I felt really sorry for the first takers of their PVR at over double the price now.
Unless they give the boxes away I beleive the service will fail especially as our friend Ruppie has thrown a spanner in the works with his intended service !
