Hi,

Can any one tell me how to lock the sound track on pre*mer so it will stay on english and not go back to german?
Can this be done using a pmct table?

The problem is that the audio languages are all labled "Deu" so it cant select English, also when the English soundtrack isn't broadcast the system defaults back to the top of the list which is German, which is why you sometimes have to change it back again.
sorry

It doesn't matter what they are labeled as its all done using audio pids

You can stop the audio pids being changed by creating a pmc
for premiere and then they will stay on what ever you leave it
on, I've done it loads of times on here and posted them.

However my humax is dead so cant do one for you this time

its been a while but i remember rightly you go into the pmc table you have loaded and manualy change the audio pid 1 higher!

cant remember the exact process as i have said its been a while now since i did this.

you could also use the pc pmc tool to change the file then copy onto the stb just make a backup first

Theres slightly a bit more to it than that you have to have an entry for each channel for a start, then you have to add an
entry to turn off the auto audio pid otherwise it just returns to its original pid those entries I cant remember without my box
