Received new integral SD Card today. Have installed latest
Technomate firmware. Did a factory reset then set up STB
working on Hotbird for test. Deleted old iboot folder & started
with unused copy.

Had the latest evilged info. Tried some of the commands but
got nowhere. As the SD was new did the format command &
that worked. Tried a reboot & SD was seen by STB about page.

Installed iboot using it's own format, said success. Did a reboot
& SD card was recognised. The juliet image 006 installed without
error & altered video setting. Boot menu comes up ok, selected
Juliet but not booting. ( In the process set swap file to 32mb prior
to image install )

Rebooted back to standard flash & installed "extra boot multi" in iboot
bin file CHMOD 775. Still won't boot.

Don't know what is wrong, is there a new multiboot on way or anything
I missed DOH !!!!

Regards catoro.

What release of iboot are you using, i have had no problems with iboot2.
Did you format the card via the iboot menu or via the box menu?.

Thank's for the reply. As stated above first formatted new SD Card via
Telnet. About the only command that seemed to work. Did a reboot &
then installed iboot using the format box ticked.

Am using the evilged iboot 2. I have tried this before doing the preinstall
& ./instiboot command which installed ok. The original SD was one I had
& that make was incompatible with linux on DB. Thats why I wiped STB
& old iboot.

Would a member please tell me. After an image is installed say
Juliet 006 path- mmc/iboot/images/juliet006/var should
there be files in var folder. Just have the extra run in the following
bin folder. If this is the case may be the SD is not mounting.
