You should have the figures with N/S and E/W

eg

00.1 W
51.5 N

Is London roughly (?)

Hi I noticed this is given in the format

Lat: 54:28:31N (54.47528)
Lon: 6:19:45W (-6.32926)
do we use the first numbers or the ones in brackets.

I'd go with:

54.28 N
06.19 W

when i put 4 digits in eg 52.48 it reads 524.8 and not as it should y any one know whats going on....

try sticking a Zero in front of the 52 - I just checked you can get longtitude and lattitude with 3 digits
