Coloured Bars, Flickering picture, then Black screen on new HDTV

I jus got my new Toshiba 42WLT66 hdtv last thursday. Today since 11am i get bright coloured bars which flicker and then after a little while a black screen. All i can hear is the sound in the background for all channels. What do u think is up with it

check all connections make sure nothing loose

yep all checked theyre fine. It happens for all channels ie sky, freeview, analogue channels. Could be a faulty colour tube i think.

Should be customer support number included in the box call them asap
This unit should be flicker free.
Try a DVD player or Games console

I ask as I just on and have the normal 12 months warranty = Just know it wont last that long!
