No Colour

I have an Echostar AD3000IP which has woked well for several years.The picture has now lost its colour and also the menus.Colour comes occasionaly but only for a few seconds.Any ideas?

Are you sure it's the box and not your TV or Scart connection?

Tried on other TVs still no colour.Tried scart and rf.

hi floss, it sounds to me that you have a problem with the scart side may be you should use a different scart lead or even check your tv, the echostars were prone to getting hot and may be you have got dry joints on the board, worth a check at the local sat repair guy.

I am the local sat repair guy.I thought that maybe one of the tech guys on here may have a fix for the problem.Its down to component failure but which component?
