which lnb to buy ?

Hi

I currently have a sharp 0.3 lnb (which I think is great) and I looking to replace it with something with two outputs. I've been hunting around to see if sharp do one and I don't think they do.

Can anyone recommend an lnb which is as good as my current lnb

Thanks chaps. The ivacom looks a lot more expensive than the other two. Does that mean it is much better quality.

On another note, if I'm feeding two receivers from my new twin lnb do I lose signal strength ?

no loss ivacom in my opinion not worth extra cost the ivacom comes with test sheet noise figure& test response across whole band

I never liked invacom it looks good just on paper not in actual performance

slightly off topic but I have no problems using the slyplus quad lnb,s myself

probably no good for weaker sats but no problems on the usual suspects like 19e , 13e , 30w etc

and cheap as chips on the auction sites

Smart Titanium will be as good if not better than your current LNB.
I tested a Sharp against Titanium and Titanium was better for me.

i think i should change it over to one of the ones u guys mention...how much improvement would i see?

It is better to go for a slightly larger dish than spend a fortune on the latest super low noise LNBs.

Don't be fooled; a 0.3 is not twice as good as a 0.6, in fact, most people won't notice any difference but going from a 60cm to an 80cm dish nearly doubles the signal (1.78 times actually).
