Has anyone got a dish that gets showtime on it in bedfordshire. If so what size is it please?

I use the andrews 1.2 here in n wales no go for showtime last time I looked but the signal is weaker than down south it drops considerably the further north you are

to add I did try the andrews 1.8 last summer for nilesat was able to lock a stable signal on the mbc transponder 24/7 but the precision 1.8 p/f only on clear day the dish was set using horizon meter

Can get all vertical channels in london with a 1m dish

the signal is stronger south of england as previously reported 1M dish say in scotland would not get you the same results on nilesat

Guys most of you with a 110cm dish should be getting V beams, from Manchester downwards.
I get all the Showtime V beams with 110cm in the evening and daytime when its not raining (which is not often in the uk) but with 150cm dish get them all the time.



Now the H beams are very weak in the UK and you will need a monster dish, I do remember a while back a guy posted from the Ipswich area to say he had the H beams on a 1.8mtr Channel Master, but signal drops big time the further North you go.

Its a fooking pain because sports 1,2,3 are on the H beams.

the only reason I use 1.8M dish is for c band nilesat is of no interest now the mbc channesl have moved to arabsat
