I went a a shop that sells spay paint for the motor trade. I asked for a paint that was brushable . I also asked them to put a matting agent in. You need to buy 1 lt which is a bit much for a dish
It wasn't that expensive but I can't remember just how much
'hope this helps

I used spray exhaust paint.....as long as its dull and matt you should be OK.....it need to be dull so the heat dose not reflect and melt your Lmb

I was just going to post that nearly any acrylic or outdoor paint should be OK until

but exhaust paint is usually aluminium based. I'd still advise against a metallic though.
Cellulose (car touch-up paint) may interact with the orginal coating and cause bubbling.
