No CAMS but the Card Reader is MultiKrypt which allows you to use various encryption types including Conax.

for a cam to be used

card reader is a card reader that may read most cards

thanks for the replies, another question if I can. what is a blank card and what does it do?

Blank card does nothing as it has nothing on it. It can however be programmed to decode certain channel depending on the cam used.
