ok so my m8 lives in bolton he has an 80cm dish and a technomate 1000
so all he needs is a card and to move his dish from hotbird
is that right as i don`t want to tell him it will work him go and spend whatever a digitalb card costs and it not work

If its the 1000CI model then he would need a cam as well.
If its a 1000D+ then this has a conax card reader built in and can also be patched so it would work ok.

m8 if its the + then is should have a card reader so it will be no problem.
If not I think you can buy the card reader to add on but please check first because I don't have one myself.
