loading backed up sats and channel list after new image install?

i know its been asked before but im dammed if i can find the answer, sorry!

i have used dreamboxedit to get the files off my tm, and they are stored on my pc however....

when loading the new image it copies the files over but there is still nothing in my channel list, i have checked via ftp to make sure they are present on the box and they are, even tried chmoding them to 755 and rebooting with still no joy.

do you have to do a full scan every time you load a new image???

ps i have ur009beta1 in the flash and just installed ur009beta2 onto the mmc.
ur0009beta1 is where i got the files from, ur009beta2 is where im trying to copy the files to.

After you send files to TM9100 you have to reload them

Press the button "Reload settings on Dreambox" its at the same place as the send files to dreambox

A popup should have told you this after settings installed

does the green pannel download cams ok with the ur009beta2 image?

when trying to download mgccam 1.24 i get an error message /tmp/softcamconfig can not be found

i have checked with ur009beta1 that i have in flash and all the files are the same in tmp yet this works!

i just love the fun of this box lol

smartcam.config points to your cams and lists which ones are installed so you can select them, sounds like the tar.gz is corrupt or wrong on the server

If your cams mirror those installed on UR009beta1 you could just copy that file from there its in /var/etc/ and thats where it goes

Otherwise install mgcamd using a tar.gz and manual install
