help!5400z and digitalb

hi guys,

need a little help..

i have just bought a 12 month digitalb card....
i have a conax 4.00e cam

my problem is top channel came on for about 30 seconds then when i switched to get another channel...nothing!

i have humax 5400z hot8.1 ver b
i have powered off and on to try reset....but can not get the card and cam to work

i have it set to card in the menu .........but still nowt!!!

am i missing something????

With a cam you should be using one of the cas options which one depends on your pmc look for the line that has the conax ident

never had this problem with the art card...:D

Look at the pmc on your humax and you will see a load of entries CAS1 CAS2 etc look for the one that has the entry 0B00 (which is conax)

Then select that CAS entry instead of having it set to card

put another version of conax cam in and....hey presto..its working

what a bummer the conax v4.00e seems to be fooked!!.....only a year old
and been used once!
