Can't help too much BOOGIBEAR but...Bought mine a while back
when on offer. Got it up & running, only done one update via 9906.
Been busy with TM9100. Reconnected STB a couple of days ago, still working on Hotbird & updating.

Probably bought it about 2 months plus. Have the original firmware
that came with STB apart from the 1 online update. TPS is still auto.

Just turned STB on to check in information.

Date...4-06-2007

Soft Version Inno PV 10.00 EU

H\W version 10.0

Hope this helps.

Regards catoro.

My settings are the same - no problems here. Go into system information and make sure it says Connection OK.

thanks dr paulos, right i know now that my settings in cs are correct, just updated with the latest al7 23/07/2007 sw software, not connected and getting false settings info, where it should be 192 etc i got 134 140 and so on,any suggestions would be appreciated, try anything, part of the fun i suppose:)just thought ide add that ive had it about 6 months and bought off den auction for 96 quid so ive had mi money off it,had the dreaded zero's and all that and cured it with reflashing and so on,got a lot of paperwork that ive printed off other sites, apart from not getting connected and false settings it works a1 getting the blue box and everything,it's a puzzler alright so if you like puzzles post a suggestion(no hammers or chucking please)see if we can crack it together:)

@ BOOGIBEAR, if your problem is net connection what are using.
Is it Router & 1 PC etc.

The problem I found with inno, though mine is a bit newer, is that
it tries to use address at times of PC. Even if Powered off & on still no change. I'm running 4 PCs & up to 3 STBs. Have a switcher
hub that Inno didn't like so now added Router to network.

I now set PCs to static address. Lowest is 192,168.0.12. The
Inno usually picks around 0.2 to 0.6. There is info to set it static
just not bothered to try it as all working.

thank's for help catoro, using modem router, managed to get rid of the 134 setting by inputing my ip address's manually in the cs menu, and then i do an ethernet update, goes from 0-100,i get the correct addresses but with no connection now:confused:,tried going to a scrambled channel that i know is open and hitting 8943 to no avail at present,i feel ime on the right track though:)

No probs here connecting Useing a 4 port TP-LINK hard wired with wireless for the lappy going into a Draytec 2800+ router hub modem ( the draytec is a bit expensive but we get no problems with them £135.00 ) plus it also streams video 24/7

If you are manually setting a static IP address, did you change the settings from before?
ip mode-dhcp
client mode-ipmode
static ip setting-local ip

I would assume that IP mode would need to be changed from DHCP.

Also make sure that the static IP address is unique and in the supported range of the router.

Another consideration is whether MAC address filtering is enabled on the router. If it is, either add the Inno MAC address to the allowed list, or disable MAC address filtering.
