I've been having problems with the picture dropping out on my television and as the television is old I thought it was on it's way out. Last night the picture went for good with the image collapsing into a small white dot then nothing. The TV makes a faint buzzing noise.
This morning having disconnected the TV I attached a portable and discovered exacly the same problems were occuring. I started to look at the scart connection on the Humax seeing if it was a poor conenction when the picture on the portable collapsed into a small white dot then nothing.
I think I've fried 2 TV's as neither will now come on.
The Humax however is happily outputting a picture through the composite connection at the back.
What the f**k have I done? Anybody know? Is there some grounding problem with the Scarts?
