help!! plz

hi,

just recently got a technomate tm9100 and currently following the guide for setting it up. I at the stage were im using the technomate control center 6 and dcc v2.92 to try and upload TM9100_TM9100Super_UR_009_Beta2 to the box. The problem is that im getting the following message:

Technomate autoupdater:

Connecting to 192.168.2.4 (Ip of the box)
Failed connection to 192.168.2.4

The password was not allowed...

Dcc:

Telnet Connected
FTP Connected

Bootmanager: not found.
Telnet Disconnected
Telnet login incorrect!
FTP Disconnected


so by looking at the screen it seems to be a login issue , as far as i know it should be:

user : root
pass: technomate

??

its probably something simple or daft im doing.

also while im at it.... do i need to pre load an original image first of all before loading TM9100_TM9100Super_UR_009_Beta2 ??

Try leaving the password blank

i just did that then was coming back on here to say i got it sorted and seen your post , lol. Its always the way with me , i speak to soon lol :p:p

hey ,

i now have problems with the ftp and uploading a softcam file. I cant see any directories for the box , when i try to connect to the box it says please enter username and password, but the status says its connected.

if you notice in screen 3 it looks like its trying to connect to 192.168.2.2 which is the ip of the router , but the ip of the box is 192.168.2.4 . confusing!!

i think its box through the window time....

ok , cancel that last post , :P , oh this is so much fun. ive been doing this all day :eek: :eek:

Here is how to sort.
Start technomate control centre.
choose update.
Now change password
there is no pasword in any ur images!!
set a password as dcc needs to see one.
Now come out and go into DCC
Set name and password then connect
All will be OK
