SD micro Card Problem.

Hi just formated my 4gig sd micro memory card now i cant read it in any of my computers it keeps saying theres no i/o .
can anyone help or is it for the bin.
be obliged for any help.

what format did you make the card?

dont really know m8 just right clicked on the removable drive and clicked format sure i seen something like fat32 at the top.
does this make any sense.

yes, fat is the micrsoft file system so there is no reason why you can not see the device under a windows based pc.

the only options available to you now are:
1 your card reader is problimatic
2 the adapter is problimatic (if your using one for this card)
3 the card is faulty.

you could try inserting it again and re-format, make sure the adapter is not locked (read only)

@Zad Thanks for your help m8 but i think it must be the card itself have tried 2 different card readers plus 2 diff,card adaptors on 2 diff computers and it still says cannot open removable disc f i/o error.
but have tried with my old 64mb memory card and that works fine.

its a long shot but if you dont mind installing linux you cout try that however im doubtfull it will make any differance
