softcam key loading ?

Thanks for your quick reply. Im nearly done now. You say load the Softcam I have remote key text file and a tm softkey.key. I guess you load the remote key using the handset. What is the tm softkey used for ?

Yes I am using the 1.87 loader. However it cannot find the softcam.key file
Any ideas.

Are you sure you are selecting the right tab in the loader?

unpack it before loading it using the keys tab in tmloader v1.87

Yes I use Unrar and I have 2 files the extensions are.txt and .key. The loader 1.87 cannot see them. I have the software tab selected. The loader is looking for a .stb file.

could be , I have no idea about vista so cannot say

what I can say is make sure it is darkman loader v1.87

and there should be 4 tabs


software , channels , keys , tps



tps isnt used at the moment

software loads the firmware and the patches

channels uploads and downloads channel lists

keys loads in the tm softcam to open the hacked channels

I was using the Technomate 1.87 loader. I didnt realise Darkmans Loader was different. Now it all works. Thanks for all your patience and help.
