Hi all,
Please could someone explain wsp and sssp, and how it works. Am I the only one still in the dark, man?

SSSP Set Up Guide. TM-1000 Series
Hello all, after having hundreds of PM's asking for an idiots guide, and set up ect.
I thought i would have a go and make you all one.
This could be hard to explain with the rules etc. So here we go.

You will need WINRAR installed on your pc.



Step One
Firstly we need to download the DARKMAN Patch and loader.



Step Two
Next we need to install the patch on the tm, to do this you need to connect your Null modem (Also known as a rs-232) lead to your PC.

Next open The Patch rar.

Drag the file to your desktop.

Now, open your loader rar, and do the same, drag the file to the desktop of your pc.

Then we need to open the loader file, should be a smilie face , a yellow one, when this is open, click AUTO DETECT.

This should detect your com port that is open, make a note of this as you will need it for later.

Now we need to click on the software tab, when on this tab click browse, and fine the patch file you dragged to your desktop before.

Click open on this file.

Now we need to put our technomate onto stand-by, when this is done click connect.

It will come up with a message like "Version 2.28p Found at COM3" And there will be a start button below the message click start.

It will now count 1 to 100 three/two times, leave it to do this as it is sending, erasing old software, then writing new software.

When this is finished , a message will appear on the loader, now you can exit the loader.

You can check the update had being sucsessfull by going to

Menu **** System information.

The new version should be 2.33



Step Three

You now need a copy of the program
Windows sharing Pack. (WSP)

Download this, and click save.

Create a folder on your desktop called TECHNOMATE SSSP.

Drag all files from the WSP.zip to the TECHNOMATE SSSP folder.

Step Four

Now we are going to open the TECHNOMATE SSSP folder.

Open this folder, and double click on the WSP icon , it looks like a square made up of squares.

This will now load a screen in polish.

If you look on the left of this screen you'll see polski, if you click on the arrow next to this, you will see english,
click on english and now you can understand all of menu's.

Now remember i said take not of your com port, well this is were we need it..

Firstly week need to change the tuner, to HUMAX SSSP

Now change the com port to your com port that i told you to take note of earlier.
e.g mines COM 4
Then click on the save to log button, this will show you the com port is open..

Now you can click START under the tuner settings.

If done correctly and your technomate is linked up you should get the message.
"Port Opened"


Step Five

Now we have everything set up we need a server, i have found that non of the free one's work,
and even the one's that do last a very short time.

So i find the only option available at the moment is Buying a PayServer.

For testing i would get the Art one, i have this one and it works fine.

After we have a server we need to enter the details.

You will recive an email with the details on,

It could look like this

Host ; test.no-ip.info
Port ; 13456
User ; MrX
Pass ; 123456

this would go into WSP by the following,

Click on the server one tab.

Change from SatBazza to NewCamd.

You put the Host, in the address line so

Address ; test.no-ip.info

The port one is obviously the port is the port given and the same for the pass.

now the user goes into the login section so

Login ; MrX.

Overall the settings should look like

Address ; test.no-ip.info
Port ; 13456
Login ; MrX
Password ; 123456

Step Six
This isnt needed for every server.
On some servers, we need to change the Provid, to the one the wsp log shows which matches your technomate.

We will use are for an example,

When art server is loaded into wsp we get the following

Now we go to art sports one.

to get to the provid menu we need to

Menu **** System Information **** CAS Menu **** Blue / Pos

this will load a box, now on we need to match the wsp log to the technomate,

The only one that matches on art is 021110, so we would chnage it from AUTO to 021110.

It will ask do you wish to save change's click yes and now your art channel should clear.

This needs to be done on every art sport channel.

And your done, a fully functional SSSP and technomate.

Thanks echelon,
Just one thing. Could I muck up my present TM settings if I make a mistake installing this programme?
Would it be better to get another TM Box just for sssp, is it that good?

the program is installed on your pc and only talks to your box

so no it shouldnt affect your box at all

always make a backup of your channels and note down the settings for usals , rf channel and any av settings , just in case

I dont see any reason for another box


but as I say I only copied and pasted it from al sat , its not my work

I got nowhere with it myself , but I am not paying for any servers

Look in the firm ware section sssp still on latest patch.

sorry mate was just being lazy just finished a long shift:redface::redface: just looked and noticed thanks.

also is it only newcamd servers that everyone is having sucess with, because when putting the feelers out for servers, i have been asking for newcamd as my other one is.
