Just read on another forum that Cabo going to Nag3 on 12 Sep.:mad:

Let's Hope the clever guys can help us yet again. We must all keep our fingres crossed and be appreciative of all the hard work and effort that has gone into keeping us going for this long and not to keep asking "when is N3 going to be cracked" etc etc. we will just have to be patient. I would not be suprised if D+ did follow Cabo's tracks as they are both on the same encryption now Nag 2 ;)

oh god then. just bought 2 few weeks ago. 1 at home, the other at my girlfriend place. £180 pounds down the drain. only thing i can do is try and sell 2 now and cutmy losses. wot do you guys think i should do. its been a few good weeks with diablo, now its going. wot a waste of money for a few weeks old diablos.

Unfortunately, there is always a risk in this hobby. The only way to guarantee TV is an official sub.

However, if you do manage to get an official sub with a provider, it can open open loads more doors ;)

Didn't kudelski buy mediaguard? I'd expect a few more tricks in nagra 3 that were used in seca 2, i.e. the seperate chip that implements the 51 xx nanos.

That has proven to provide a strong line of defence once the original rom/eeprom has been dumped and they'll surely adopt it this time.

if its true. just 24hrs before tv cabo goes n3. might as well throw these 2 diablo stelth out through the window if its confirmed cabo going nagra3 on 12 sept (wednesday). if i had few months of use with it i wouldnt complain but only 3 weeks ive had them. any advise what i should do with them. anyone.:mad::confused:

It sounds like your quite new to this hobby.

Have a read at other threads about 'magic' cards and CAMs that become useless and you will see that most of them eventually join the 'ice-scraper' pile.

Thats the name of the game..like I said before, there are no guarantees.

You still have a lot of other pakages to watch with your Diablo: D+ (AU), Polsat (AU), Premiere (AU), TPS (AU) for example.

Bit of a gloomy thread. Even if cabo goes, then D+ (as is likely), you`ve still got Digi TV, Polsat etc (although as Nagra 2 providers they`ll also go at some point). Premiere is rumoured to be trialling a new card, but again, maybe we`ve got a few months left on it yet. Don`t forget TPS, which isn`t likely to go anywhere until the long awaited move to Astra and Mediaguard encrytion (which could be many months away)
We`ve always had dryish spells, and things have always come back.

Why do you think "everything goes"? Never happened before. You'll almost certainly have somethings open. Also as somethings go there is a likelyhood of new things opening. You don't need to be such a 'gloom and doom' person. :D

tad, go to lyngsat site and look at the European / Atlantic Packages. Currently diablo will get TPS, D+, Polsat, Digi TV and Cabo. You can then see if the channels you are interested in are part of those packages and whether there is an english audio option.

Yes they are firing up the two new chnls with this, but we'll wait and see what and when over the next few weeks.
