Hi Guys

I want some info on Humax 5510 cryptoworks. Is this a stand alone receiver or can it be patched? I couldn't find much information elsewhere about this receiver. Also there seem to be no Diseq control s/w in it either. Your help much appreciated. Regards

i had one m8, i patched it to work with d+ the first time round (nag1), there was no way of getting it run a emu like the 5400, not sur if any can be done with them now though as i binned mine

Thanks for your reply. I bought this box from the carboot sale for a fiver completely dead. It had a faulty PSU. As an electronically oriantated man I changed all the caps and diodes in the PSU and made it to work. Basically I already have got a Humax 5400 working fine. This is just a venture to have extra box. So I was curious to know if I could upgrade it to work little better if not i will use it as an FTA.
